Life Vanguards
(LIVA) was a not-for-profit, non-political and a frontline charity registered
in Nigeria, with focus on youth health and development. Their main thrust is to
enhance life options for young people through provision of information,
education, support and other services that will encourage their entrepreneurial
skills development, equip them for leadership responsibilities, protect them
from sexual and reproductive health problems and groom them to become
responsible adults.
In general, LIVA’s
strategic approach and programmes are tailored towards contributing to the
holistic development of the youth. Apart from this, LIVA also has thematic focus
on HIV&AIDS prevention, care and support; rehabilitation and resettling of the
physically challenged.
